{"id":337,"date":"2023-04-11T18:22:39","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T16:22:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambpristina.esteri.it\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti\/"},"modified":"2025-09-19T15:26:46","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T13:26:46","slug":"traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ambpristina.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/traduzione-e-legalizzazione-dei-documenti\/","title":{"rendered":"Translation and legalization of documents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Please be informed that this Consular Section does <strong>not<\/strong> provide translations or certify translations.<\/p>\n<p>For documents issued by the authorities of Kosovo to be recognized in Italy, the following procedure is recommended:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Civil status documents<\/strong> should be authenticated with an<strong> <em>Apostille<\/em><\/strong> issued by the Civil Registration Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other public documents<\/strong> (e.g., educational, judicial, notarial) should be authenticated with an<strong> <em>Apostille<\/em><\/strong> issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Translations into Italian:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>All documents should be translated by an<strong> official translator certified by the Kosovo Judicial Council<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The translation should also be authenticated with an<strong> <em>Apostille<\/em><\/strong> issued by the <strong>Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/strong> of the Republic of Kosovo.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Official lists of certified translators and interpreters are available at the following links:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gjyqesori-rks.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/KGJK_Regjistri_perkthyesve_dhe_interpreteve_2024.pdf\">List of translators\/interpreters<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gjyqesori-rks.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/KGJK_Regjistri_perkthyesve_gjyqesore_2024.pdf\">List of translators<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once the document and its translation have been both prepared and apostilled, they may be <strong>submitted directly in Italy<\/strong> without any further consular procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, the translation may be executed and legalized directly in Italy at a <strong>Court<\/strong> or by a <strong>Notary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Please be informed that this Consular Section does not provide translations or certify translations.
