{"id":8605,"date":"2026-04-22T15:14:25","date_gmt":"2026-04-22T13:14:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambpristina.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2026\/04\/contributi-per-missioni-di-studio-e-ricerca-2026\/"},"modified":"2026-04-22T15:50:49","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T13:50:49","slug":"contributi-per-missioni-di-studio-e-ricerca-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambpristina.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2026\/04\/contributi-per-missioni-di-studio-e-ricerca-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Grants for study and research missions 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), through the Directorate General for the Promotion of the Country System (DGCE), supports and encourages missions both abroad and in Italy by researchers, academics, experts, cultural figures, and cultural operators, Italian and international, including from <strong>Kosovo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Funding is available for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>travel and accommodation expenses of <strong>Italian<\/strong> researchers, academics, experts, cultural figures, and cultural operators, as well as <strong>foreign nationals residing in Italy for at least two years<\/strong>, who are invited abroad by foreign universities or cultural institutions;<\/li>\n<li>contributions toward travel and accommodation expenses for <strong>foreign researchers<\/strong>, academics, experts, cultural figures, and cultural operators, as well as <strong>Italian nationals<\/strong> <strong>residing abroad<\/strong>, who are invited by Italian universities or cultural institutions, with the aim of fostering collaboration and joint research initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION AND FUNDING PROCEDURES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants, both Italian and Kosovar, may submit their applications to the Italian Embassy in Pristina (<a href=\"mailto:segreteria.pristina@esteri.it\">segreteria.pristina@esteri.it<\/a>), copying the Unit for the Coordination of Italian Cultural Institutes (<a href=\"mailto:dgce06.missioni@esteri.it\">dgce06.missioni@esteri.it<\/a>).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ambpristina.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/3021712.pdf\"><strong>guidelines and application forms<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that only applications from candidates holding an official invitation from a university or cultural institution will be considered. Preference is given to initiatives carried out within the framework of existing bilateral Cultural Cooperation Agreements and Executive Programs. For Italian applicants or foreign applicants residing in Italy, the invitation must come from a foreign university or cultural institution. For foreign applicants or Italian nationals residing abroad, the invitation must come from an Italian university or cultural institution.<\/p>\n<p>Financial support for foreign beneficiaries will be disbursed by the Unit for the Coordination of Italian Cultural Institutes through the Embassy. Italian beneficiaries, on the other hand, will receive the funding directly from the Unit. All beneficiaries are required to submit a report on the activities carried out, along with all supporting documentation, to both the Unit and the Embassy. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received, subject to the availability of funds under budget line 2619\/7.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EVALUATION CRITERIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications will be assessed based on the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the applicant\u2019s professional profile and experience;<\/li>\n<li>the potential medium- and long-term impact of the mission, particularly in terms of developing cultural or scientific projects and partnerships between Italian and foreign institutions;<\/li>\n<li>the prestige of the institutions involved;<\/li>\n<li>the principle of rotation among beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DEADLINES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications must be submitted to the Unit via messaging no later than <strong>31 July 2026<\/strong>.\u00a0Funding is available for activities taking place between 1 January and 15 November 2026.\u00a0Please note that it will not be possible to provide funding for missions taking place after this date.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), through the Directorate General for the Promotion of the Country System (DGCE), supports and encourages missions both abroad and in Italy by researchers, academics, experts, cultural figures, and cultural operators, Italian and international, including from Kosovo.
