{"id":880,"date":"2022-07-25T18:03:12","date_gmt":"2022-07-25T16:03:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambpristina.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2022\/07\/pace-sicurezza-e-tutela-dei-diritti-2\/"},"modified":"2022-07-25T18:03:12","modified_gmt":"2022-07-25T16:03:12","slug":"pace-sicurezza-e-tutela-dei-diritti-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambpristina.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2022\/07\/pace-sicurezza-e-tutela-dei-diritti-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Peace, security and human rights protection: \u201cBando Balcani\u201d 2022 is on-line, applications till 30 September"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation published a public notice (Call for Proposals Balkans) for the implementation of projects aimed at allowing the Italian participation in international peace and security initiatives and the fulfillment of humanitarian initiatives and human rights protection.<\/p>\n<p>Financial contributions are granted to proposals for initiatives on the following topics, in the Western Balkans region (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia):<\/p>\n<p>a) consolidation of democratic institutions and support to national and regional reconciliation processes; strengthening of the process of adhesion of the Western Balkans to the EU and promotion of EU integration; prevention of terrorism and extremism, reform of justice and electoral systems, transparency, fight against corruption and organized crime;<\/p>\n<p>b) inclusion and enhancement of youth, women, LGBTIQ+ communities and national minorities within the processes of regional reconciliation;<\/p>\n<p>c) strengthening the protection and promotion of human rights;<\/p>\n<p>d) promotion of dissemination and protection of international and humanitarian law.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed initiatives may be bilateral or regional.<\/p>\n<p>The available funding amounts is equal to \u20ac 250.000.
