A four-year project “Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans” (CC4WBs) financed by the European Union is a part of the initiative to support creative industries in the Western Balkans. An online event where the open call for participation will be presented will take place on 18 May.
Creative industries are the centre of this EUR 8 million worth European initiative, as well as strengthening the social and economic impact of the cultural and creative sector in the Western Balkans.
Cultural cooperation in the Western Balkans, but also with the member states of the European Union, leads to stronger and better neighbourly relations and enables the continuation of the process of reconciliation, which is crucial for the region’s further development.
