The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) is pleased to announce the call for applications for the following awards promoting cooperation in science and technological innovation:
1.“Science, She Says! Award”, now in its fourth edition, will be presented to five young female researchers (non-Italian citizens) under the age of 40, from five different geographical areas (Africa and the Middle East; Asia and the Pacific; Europe; Central and South America; North America). One award will be presented to a researcher from each of the geographical areas mentioned. Nominations must be submitted by a prominent scientist holding a leadership position at a scientific academy, university, research institute, or government science and technology department in the country where the candidate works.

2. The “Farnesina – Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award”, now in its ninth edition, aims to recognize the work of a senior Italian scientist currently active in Kosovo for their outstanding contribution to the advancement of bilateral scientific cooperation in any field of science and technology.

3.The “Innovation that Speaks Italian Award”, now in its ninth edition, aims to recognize Italian citizens who have founded technology start-ups operating in Kosovo, in recognition of their contribution to the creation of innovative and technology-driven start-ups.
