The procedure for granting contributions in favour of projects aimed at allowing Italy participation in international peace and humanitarian initiatives pursuant to art. 23 ter of Presidential Decree 18/1967, proposed by private non-profit organizations, private and foreign, worthy of co-financing (Bando Balcani 2022), has been concluded.
Three projects have been selected for Kosovo:
- European Institute of Peace (EIP). “Support the EU-facilitated normalization dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia”;
- Berlin Center for Integrative Mediation (CSSP). “Supporting confidence building and cooperation between communities in North Mitrovica”;
- Balkan Investigative Reporting Network Kosovo (BIRN). “Media as a means to improve the transparency of the justice system and the fight against terrorism and violent extremism”.
