The “Accademia d’Arti e Mestieri dello Spettacolo” of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, as part of a convention with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is awarding scholarships to international students so to attend the “Master Classes Program in Opera Singing”.
For the two-year period 2023-2025, up to a maximum of 10 scholarships will be made available. The call for applications by the Accademia is published below. These scholarships will be provided for the academic year 2023-2024 (starting from 1 January 2024 to 30 September 2024) and, subject to verification of the requirements, may be renewed for the following academic year 2024-2025 (starting from 1 January 2025 to 30 September 2025).
The monthly amount is € 900. Students attending the master classes program must provide for their own health and accident insurance.
Lessons will be held in Italian. A specific course in Italian as a second language is included in the curriculum.
Applications can be submitted till 19 May 2023.
