Fabrizio Bosso’ quartet special guests at the “Chopin Piano Fest” in Pristina on May 18. Stevie Wonder Tribute Concert

Trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso, among the finest contemporary jazz musicians in Italy, pays tribute to the musical genius of Stevie Wonder in his latest project “We Wonder”. He does so as part of the 14th edition of the Chopin Piano Fest, held in the Kosovan capital since 2010. The date is Saturday 18 May at 20 h in the Amphitheatre of the Hasan Prishtina University Library. To reserve your free seat, please register at this link .

The energy and vitality that characterise Stevie Wonder’s signature style, the expressive power of his most famous ballads, together with the technique and lyricism of Fabrizio Bosso’s trumpet, the care of the arrangements and the musical personality of each musician in the quartet, are all elements that make this unique and unrepeatable concert, supported by the Italian Embassy in Pristina and the Italian Cultural Institute in Tirana.

Their repertoire includes some of Wonder’s most significant songs, drawing on a wide-ranging repertoire spanning a period from the late 1960s to his 2004 album. Fabrizio Bosso’s trumpet is accompanied by Julian Oliver Mazzariello‘s piano and keyboards, Jacopo Ferrazza‘s bass and double bass, as well as Nicola Angelucci‘s drums.
