Italian language and culture

At the university level, Italian is offered as a curricular foreign language both at the University of Pristina (UP), through its Institute of Italian Language and Culture at the University of Pristina, and at the University for Business and Technology (UBT). In addition, thanks to cooperation with the Embassy of Italy in Pristina, free courses open to the general public are offered both at the Language Center of the University of Pristina (qendraegjuheve@uni-pr.edu) and at the Institute of Foreign Languages at UBT (ifl@ubt-uni.net).

At the Institute of Foreign Languages of UBT, it is also possible to sit the CELI Italian language certification exams issued by the University for Foreigners of Perugia.

Students in compulsory education can learn Italian as part of the curriculum in several institutions, including (among others) the American School of Kosova, Mileniumi i Tretë School, and the Princeton School of Prishtina.

There are also private schools specializing in the teaching of Italian, including (among others) Qendra Dante and Britannica-ELT.
